It's a fully functioning popcorn machine with an embedded server that translates the pops into Morse code and then speaks the message in a soothing, computerized voice. It's all gibberish of course, but maybe if you pop enough corn, you'll recreate Hamlet or something. I suppose it's cheaper than a million monkeys and a million typewriters.
