    creepy, but catchy


    Here's an upbeat little tune written and performed by a very bad man. Sometimes it can be tough to separate an artist from his art, but you kind of have to in order to appreciate this song. But you have to admit the song is catchy.

    banjo bonanza


    Did you know that the banjo is one of very few musical instruments invented in these here United States? Check out this segment of The Late Show with David Letterman featuring a group called Men with Banjos Who Know How to Use Them featuring a very familiar and funny face sitting in. Along with some hardcore banjo pickin' by Earl Scruggs and a piano solo by Paul Schafer that's really fantastic.

    Ray Charles R.I.P.


    Ray Charles is my all-time favorite musician. The world became a sadder place today. A lot has been said about the death of Ronald Reagan this week, but I think that this is just as terrible a loss to the world.
